    Sneha Raj says:

I studied in MMA from 2001-2007, in English medium. I was a holder of the Red diploma/diploma with honors. I am very pleased to be a part of the MMA, a medical school that gave me not just one of the best medical education, but a lot more in terms of learning a new language, meeting a whole new culture , beautiful Moscow. I passed my USMLE steps 1,2 and 3, and finished residency in St. John hospital, Michigan, USA, and am a pediatrician now, who will begin work in the Community medical centers, Stockton, California. My only advice to the freshmen - take full advantage of the wonderful and brilliant teaching staff in MMA, they have a lot to offer in terms of knowledge. Also, because MMA is an established research area, if possible, get your roots established in the field of research there. As physicians, we know that nothing is stagnant in our profession and acquiring ways to improve means to offer the best to our patients should be our goal.
    Regards, Sneha.
Note: Since 2012 the MMA (Moscow Medical Academy) bears the name 1st MSMU - the First Moscow State Medical University.

"With great pleasure and pride that I write this letter of thanks. It’s been a very pleasant journey in Moscow where I did residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at I.M Sechenov, First Moscow State Medical University. My experience at the V.F Snegirev Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic was a fantastic learning graph. I had pleasure of working with Russia’s finest Consultants, who acted as mentors in my learning process, namely Dr Ant. Language was never a barrier for me. My colleagues and friends always offered a helping hand to get me acquainted to the protocols of the hospital. Since hospital was well equipped with latest technologies and updated guidelines, I gained immense experience because of which I received GMC registration in UK and step forward to take my career graph upwards to greater heights. In my registration process, Dean office for international students was very generous and so helpful, getting the relevant documents. I am ever so thankful to MSMU for the opportunity and experience it gave me to be the person I am today." February, 2016.
